About Foster's Flowers
Located at 1203 Foster Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11230, Foster's Flowers operates as a florist serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 859-2222. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 93 reviews, which is a strong result for a florist in Brooklyn and suggests consistent service.
Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Not a great experience here. We came in for a small birthday bouquet, and the florist didnβt seem particularly skilled at arranging flowers. When I made a few suggestions, she got noticeably rude about it, almost dismissive. Then, after the bouquet was already made, she informed us they donβt take card, so we had to scramble for cash. Between the attitude and the lack of communication about payment, I wouldnβt return and wouldnβt recommend this place to others.

I go to this store quite often whenever I treat myself to flowers or buy for others. The sales lady is very friendly. She has a good size collection of flowers bought from all over the world. Also, she has healthy plants for sale. Good prices.
